We brought our 96 year old father to see Dr Alter for some possible relief of back pain that he has suffered with for more than 40 years, very serious pain in the past several years. Dr Alter and his staff were extremely cordial. Dr Alter explained to my father and mother that he didn’t feel the treatment that he would perform on my dad could be beneficial. He explained it “may” even exacerbate the pain, due to his condition and age. Although not what we wanted to hear, we were grateful for his honestly. He suggested another route. He and his staff went above and beyond with their professionalism. Not all doctors would just give up a patient for pure honesty. Thanks Doc !!!
