My nephew decided this year he wanted to make characters with clay and wanted his friends to join him for his 8th birthday . Reaching out to the gallery customer service was fantastic ! Lee and I worked out all the details and pricing . Arriving to her studio we were met with her she was so kind and attentive to all of the needs we or the kids may have . We set up a table with snacks and decor and she provided a table for gifts she set up chairs and material on the other tables she had set out prior to us arriving she also taught the class In such an insightful way that kids can fully understand involving them in questions she may have making sure they understood what to do . Parents had the choice to be there hands on with the kiddos or have a day to themselves (it helped having a few on deck to help out ) but I would also say kids did enjoy some direction from parents but loved not having to many so they could learn and enjoy the experience on their own. This studio has field behind it which we took the kids in between session and drying for them to eat lunch and play to get their energy out . She asked great questions when it came to painting and testing knowledge of kids and their colors which was really great learning experience for them . In the end everyone had so much fun and they got to go home with own custom art and I highly recommend ! ***I will add this this please if you plan to have a party keep this in mind this is a art studio please be respectful of that and keep and eye on kiddos drinks and snacks and where those are placed. If kids seem to be rambunctious take them to the field out back and let them get some energy out and have one person keeping an eye on them In the studio because they have Sunning art they have on display and some that are fragile that people put a lot of love into . **
Painted with some amazing teachers! Lee and her husband, has such a cute shop. The painting and atmosphere was very therapeutic.
