I would like to thank Tara and her staff at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home for making the process during the loss of my father, J. T. Garrett, a better experience than I intended. Tara and her staff showed professionalism, kindness and concern for our feelings and treated us like their family. She had several suggestions that made our decision process a lot easier. Jonathan and Tara were kind, compassionate, and patient with my family and me during such a difficult time with the loss of my mother. Everything from start to finish was professionally handled and I couldn't have asked for better. They went the extra mile with offering advice and ensuring all needs were met. I highly recommend Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home where they treat you like family!
Tara and Johnathan are God sent individuals with a huge heart. They treated my loved one with so much dignity and respect it will never be forgotten. I would recommend this place to everyone.
