Comfort Dental support team is nonexistent. I received a text from them this morning stating that I owe them quite a bit of money. First, I haven't lived in the area that comfort dental is. I have literally been around the world twice since my family was seen there. Second, I have called their number at this point 60 times today, using all of the options at this point. It doesn't matter. They don't answer or listen to messages. Absolutely worst customer service I have ever seen. Third, I have very much explained to them via 60+ phone call/voice messages the importance of resolving this right now as I will be moving to a country where I will nit have my US phone active. They don't care. Hopefully, someone in charge sees this and every other review on them I do. BBB. And whatever is next. Comfort Dental will ruin your life. STAY AWAY.

I received quality dental care that is not my issue. Although why it takes 8-9 months to get a cleaning appointment is an issue for a different day. So much for 2 cleanings a year covered by my insurance. My issue is the front desk staff and billing department. The staff is nice enough and put on a professional facade but they follow-up and communication skills are totally absent. Last Wednesday (March 20) I received a text (not a bill, a text) saying I owed $113. I called Comfort dental and asked why I owed them. My last dental care, not covered by my insurance, was over a year ago and I paid what I owed before I left the office. The person who answered the phone told me they would "look into it and call me back, if not this afternoon, we will call you tomorrow." Midafternoon on Thursday no one had called so I called Comfort dental back, explain my situation and received the same company line, they will look into in and call me back, if not this afternoon, then they would call me on Friday. No call on Friday, I waited all day. I called back yesterday (Monday, March 25 2024) and was told again, we will look into it and call you back. Here it is mid-afternoon Tuesday and still no call. I assume Comfort Dental wants me to pay but I would like an explanation on what I owe and if it was for my pervious care why it has taken over a year to tax me.

My son was seen at the pediatric office for a mini root canal. There was no communication from the dentist herself at this visit, only the assistants spoke with me about my son's procedure. I never saw the dentist and even asked my son who is 15 if the lady who was going over my son's recovery steps was the dentist and he said no. I trusted everything went smoothly and we went on our way. We ended up at the ER a few days later due to the amount of pain he was in after the procedure. We returned to the office and after X-rays, I was introduced to the dentist and I was told he would then need a root canal on the same tooth in addition to the initial procedure that cost our family over $550. I voiced my concern about the cost of the failed procedure and having to pay another very large amount for an actual root canal within the same week of his first procedure. In front of my son, I was told by the dentist "That's on you Mami" and was questioned on why I wasn't at my son's initial appointment when the mini root canal was scheduled when my husband needed to bring him to the dentist for his initial visit. When I explained our family's work schedule and living arrangements I was told "I don't need to hear your life history." I was scolded, humiliated, and blamed because of this dentist's ego, in the end, because her attempt at a procedure did not go well and I questioned the process. An assistant also questioned my son in private asking him about me while they were in another room and told him not to go through with the procedure because of the dentist's tone and temperament during the consult. Although Dr. Lisbet Diaz may be skilled as a pediatric dentist, she seems very pressured in being one of the few people that can do what she does in the area. She rudely expressed this to me voicing she was my only option for getting my son the help he needed while he was in pain when she could sense we were uncomfortable during her outburst. My son ended up getting the tooth pulled and as we wrapped up our appointment, Dr. Lisbet Diaz told me that the initial procedure she performed on my son has only been unsuccessful twice. I expressed that my only concern was the cost of both procedures for our family in such a small window of time. She then told me she was "sorry we got off on the wrong foot but it bothers her when it becomes not about the children." Again, her ego was front and center and needed the blame to be put on the parent. I was shocked to say the least.
