I would not even rate them a 1 but that is as low as Yelp allows. DO NOT even hire this company to change a light bulb. Especially MD Renovations. I hired them 13 months ago to replace my windows and 1 sliding glass door. It is STILL not right. After MONTHS of phones calls that were never returned, they finally installed the windows and did a terrible job. They left a mess inside and out and I had to finish much of the caulking. Then it took months more of unreturned calls to get my screens which they expected me to install. The lock on the sliding glass door failed twice in the first month. My husband and I have been living in our newly built Tew Construction home for one month. We are the first in this line up of new spec homes on our street.We were told by several people that Tew has a solid reputation for craftsmanship and integrity, so we had a measure of confidence going in. We did not expect to buy this home because we were hoping for a 3-car garage, but found ourselves comparing every house we saw to it. We know a few people who have purchased from large-scale builders where their homes looked nice and modern at first blush but were riddled with problems of poor construction.
