The salon is located in the Turtle Crossing Shopping Center very close to the University of Miami. I’m from NY and was in Miami to move my daughter into UM. I normally get my hair done at Drybar in NY but didn’t want to go to Brickell which is where the only Drybar is located in Miami. Compared to Drybar this salon was messy and a little outdated but seemed clean. The stylists were friendly (all spoke Spanish and English) and knew what they were doing. My daughter loved her hair but hers is easy long and not layered. Mine took the stylist a very long time to do. In fairness, I have a lot of hair and it is somewhat layered with bangs. I’ve been a loyal Blo client for many years. They are consistently amazing; sleek blowouts, excellent products, and they are extremely accommodating with the schedule. The owner, Paula, is a pleasure, and very professional. You won’t be disappointed.
Miami traffic almost had me walking around with dirty hair, but the owner of the salon moved things around to accommodate for my stylist, Julia, being stuck in traffic. In the end, Julia was worth it - my hair looks great and I’m so happy it all worked out. Highly recommend!!!
