Three words I would use to describe Dr. Augusto E. Whitwell is reasonable, compassionate, and skilled. I had no one to pick me up at the hospital, so Dr. Whitwell not only agreed to give me just a local anesthetic for my operation, which was relatively minor, but he also signed a waiver for me to drive myself home. I use compassionate to describe him because he did everything he could to make sure I was not in any pain during the operation. And I would also say he’s very skilled because after the operation and even though I had somewhere around 10 stitches, I don’t even need an aspirin because there’s no pain at all.
