LA Fitness is a well-equipped gym that offers a wide range of amenities. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, a pool, saunas, and a Kids Klub. The staff are described as friendly, and the gym is generally clean. However, some equipment shows signs of rust, and several cardio machines have been out of service for an extended period, which affects the experience. The gym can be crowded at any time of the day, making it challenging to use certain equipment. The location is convenient, and the facility is large and organized. The daycare is spacious, and the employees who watch the children are kind. Management is attentive, with employees like Fabian showing great care for the gym, which makes a significant difference. Personal trainers, such as Bella, are highly recommended for their motivating and fun workouts, as well as their ability to help clients achieve their fitness goals. While the free weights are often not returned to their proper places, creating some disorder, many members appreciate the variety of machines available and the overall cleanliness of the gym.
Older gym that needs a serious update to all the machines, sauna, showers etc. Not sure how they even compete with Crunch and EOS with all there newer equipment and post workout therapy machines. They recently brought in more bike machines that almost no one uses. Take a look any am or pm every treadmill and stair master is full but 1-2 of the bikes and elliptical machines are being used. Common sense says remove some of those and add more stair master machines and treadmills. Duh.
Nice freeweight selection with dumbbells up to 100 pounds which I was looking for and machines targeting the whole body, recreational areas(basketball and racketball) and recovery areas with sauna and swimming pool are not found in other gyms so a definite plus.
Staff is nice enough but 1. Most equipment is rusty and many cardio pieces are often down for service and 2. The free weights are never in order. I realize this is the responsibility of the members but I’ve been to other LA Fitness locations where the members respect this courtesy - it all starts with holding people accountable. I come here because it is the most convenience location but it surely isn’t the best by any stretch of the imagination.
