About Budo Martial Arts
Budo Martial Arts Studio offers specialized programs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Striking for all ages. The kids' programs are age-specific and focus on developmental needs, teaching martial arts virtues the right way. Children love their teachers and are very excited to go every week. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and know how to connect with the kids, helping them with self-confidence, self-control, self-defense, and focus. Parents note it is a great way for children to learn how to protect themselves and get energy out, with some seeing improvement at school. Adult classes are structured for varying skill levels, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Adults report a big improvement within months of training, making friends and connections. The professor is extremely professional. The studio is highly recommended for anyone looking to introduce their child to martial arts or for adults seeking to better themselves. It is definitely what martial arts is supposed to be.
My kids love coming to budo!!!! Professor Vinch really makes this fun . My daughter who is 10 was in taewando for 7 years got tired of it and we found this little gem. My daughter loves it she has learned more in the last few months then 7 years of taewando. Budo Martial arts is a gem and a positive environment! I have seen a difference in both my kids age 4 and 10 . They enjoy the skills and he makes it fun with games !!! Not only do I feel comfortable there my kids do as well. The kids love making friends and supporting each other. As a parent it's a great environment where not only the kids feel safe parents start to feel like a big family. This has been the best self esteem booster for both my kiddos. He has the patience of a saint !!!
We have been involved with Mixed Martial Arts for 5 years but only 2 months with Professor Vinch. Both of my boys (9 & 6) are involved and absolutely love it! Professor Vinch makes my boys feel comfortable and encourages them throughout the class. He is patient and stern yet my kids respect him. One of their favorite parts of the class is the Word of the Week (e.g. honesty, perseverance, patience) which always comes into conversation throughout the week. My boys are learning self-discipline, respect and confidence all while enjoying Martial Arts! It’s actually a blessing (for us) that we are now at this new DoJo!
