I'm a curly-haired man in my early 30s who's just recently started experiencing the horrors of male pattern hair loss and losing the long, thick curls in the front has been so painful. I've been terrified of getting a cut and the result was a head of hair that desperately needed a one.

As SOON as I walked into the salon, Chris was there to greet me incredibly warmly and I felt immediately at ease. I told her my story and concerns and hopes and everything and she gave me tons of great advice and kind words and just really made me feel like things were going to be OK, which I really needed to hear. I cannot stress how above and beyond she went - I've never had a hair stylist that felt like she cared so very much, I really appreciated it.

The cut felt great, she has experience working with curly hair, and I could tell. My scalp and hair felt SO good, the entire experience was therapeutic both emotionally and physically. She understood the importance of how to shape the hair to fit the shape of the head and the result was a cut that made me feel SO much lighter without losing the volume that I'm trying to hold onto. I feel like I look younger too!!! Which was a very nice surprise, haha. Also, she even gave me a bottle of styling product for free!!! Such kindness and generosity.

She is such a sweetheart and the kindest person, legitimately the best haircut experience I've ever had. I'm looking forward to continuing my hair journey and figuring out exactly how I want my hair to look until I find something I'm perfectly happy with; I trust Chris to help me get to that point, and I have confidence she can help you do the same. :)“

You were late, therefore your appointment is no longer “standing”. So to be able to come in, have a seat, and still be able to have your service offered, (during our busiest hours) which should have been a blessing. At no point were you apologetic for that. This is the 3rd time that I can recall that you have came in and insulted my colleagues. The last time you were here, it was a problem that my colleagues were Vietnamese speaking descendants. I said nothing, let you have it your way time after time. This time, you said, “what is the point of making an appointment, if they’re just going to take walk-ins before appointments.” I was confused, and asked where the walk-ins were so I can de-escalate the situation. Your response was, “oh I don’t know, I’m just assuming.” At the same time, still assuming that your appointment was top priority, no matter how late you were. You were on a lunch hour, late, and insulting us, for your irresponsibility. Here, we strive to love, spoil, and make sure everyone gets the attention needed for their services. We are not known for speed, and drive through. At no point do we advertise for that. I’m sorry that your insults didn’t make it out alive, and that I was the only one that understood how distasteful your demeanor is toward us every time you step foot in. I’m sorry that you never smile, and can’t engage in the bare minimum of human interactions. I’m sorry that I no longer allow you to bully us for various reasons. I’m sorry that it didn’t work out well for you this time. I’m sorry that you do this often in every establishment you walk in.
