Tidewell Hospice at Venice on the Isle, Venice, FL, a part of Empath, treated my relative and family with the utmost dignity, warmth, and professionalism. You have the vision of your relative dying peacefully at home, but this wasn’t going to happen in our case. We couldn’t have asked for a more calm, peaceful, and loving environment. Veteran volunteers placed a flag and symbol at the room door and conducted a small blessing. Wonderful place.

Empath Health and Suncoast Hospice took care of my parents as they transitioned through Assisted Living/Hospice Care …. To fill hospice care and their final forwarding. I cannot say enough about how they supported my Mom and step-father, who passed 5 hours apart… and their support of me, as their primary caretaker. I can only say that they are all Angels if God. Amen. I say, Amen.

Thank you to Suncoast and especially the Purple Team for their help and care with my grandma. Angel was our head nurse and we always felt that she had true compassion for grandma and for us. Walking someone to the gates of heaven is not easy. It’s full of deep sorrow, day to day stressors, and even glimpses of joy. From the moment they signed us up they were quick. Within 1/2 hr of the intake person leaving, we had a hospital bed and other needs delivered. They took care of meds, which saved us trips to the pharmacy. They lovingly came and gave her baths after she was bedridden, (and a huge shoutout to those women who really were so gentle and kind!) Overall, our experience was positive. As we continue to grieve our loss, we will remain forever thankful that they helped us along the way. Thank you again for helping us love grandma into the arms of Jesus.
