Akumin is a full-service imaging center that has been open in Clearwater for over 12 years. It is centrally located in Pinellas County, serving patients across Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. The center offers MRI, CT, PET/CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, Bone Density, 3D Mammography, Biopsy, Nuclear Medicine, and interventional radiology. It operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and has an onsite radiologist. The staff was great. Ann did my test was very nice with great sense of humor.
Paige really impressed my husband at the pet scan. She was so kind and very professional. He appreciated all that she did and the tone of her voice really calmed him and put him at ease, it was a blessing. We appreciate that she treated with such kindness since he’s been suffering so much.
