Rick came in and checked my AC unit and compressor. He had to suck and blow out the drain line. He told me the drain line was rusted and the unit upstairs was also rusting. Coils on back of compressor outside were deteriorating…Rick suggested getting new… these were the 2009 model. He did not charge me for the maintenance today and the new Trane unit and compressor will be installed next Friday. I also bought a leaf protector to prevent the leaves from going into the compressor. He was very professional and explained everything very clearly. I may be getting the 10 year warranty - just thinking about it right now.

ACS was very responsive and efficient in dealing with a suspected leak from the air handler. Their service tech arrived about three hours after I called. Thankfully, it was not the AC. I'm still puzzled how water got in, but at least I know my equipment is in good working order.
