“Ricky is hands down the best barber that I have had. I had been looking for a new place to get a quality fade when my wife happened to take my teenage boys to Hair Lab to get a haircut from Ricky. I was very impressed with the quality of their cuts- like blown away! I decided I needed to try this place for myself. I can honestly say that I had the best experience possible. I’ll break it down into categories:

The atmosphere- no frills, but VERY clean, cool, and comfortable. Great music playing in the background (reggae and island dub). Awesome vibe overall.

The barber- Ricky was AWESOME!! Very friendly and professional. He took time to understand what I wanted and spent time making every detail right. He didn’t rush to finish my cut, nor was he getting distracted constantly, which has been an issue at every other barber shop I’ve been to in the past 15 years. He is a master of his craft and extremely efficient with an eye for detail.

The cut- I am a picky man when it comes to haircuts. Ricky’s work was immaculate. The skin fade was clean and even, he trimmed the top nicely (working around my challenging cowlicks). The line up was super clean and precise and he trimmed my beard expertly so that it fit the shape of my face better.

Overall, I came out looking like a new man. Further, the price point is excellent! It cost $50 out the door, 25% tip included. I appreciate the professional environment, superb service, and the unwavering quality and attention to detail. I cannot say enough nice things about Ricky and Hair Lab Studios!!
