I called; Jim Peck answered the call; came out the following day to look at the job; next day had a written estimate for me; next week work was done. Highly recommend this company. I needed an artist for a landscaper and found him. My backyard was filled with a wall of bamboo and I loved it. It was serene and beautiful. But it was too tall and continued to mess with the power lines it was planted under (an expensive mistake, that one). I loved it but it had to come out. I started the process of interviewing landscapers who could create something equally beautiful, easily maintainable, and a whole lot smarter. I also wanted to add some hardscaping as I live along a pond which I love, but it was encroaching on the yard. I had no idea what a difficult task it would be to find someone with professionalism, vision and skill. When I talked to Jim Peck, I didn’t know who I was getting. But he came to my house, listened to what I wanted, took his measurements and I wasn’t sure I would ever hear from him again. So far, that was the norm. But surprise! He came back with a well drawn plan. We talked it over and made a few revisions and I was satisfied that he could execute what we planned together. He listens well, is easy to work with and has great ideas. He arrived with a crew of four terrific guys who worked their butts off in incredible heat and humidity without a complaint. Everyone was friendly and respectful and interested in turning out a beautiful project. They ran into plenty of problems with the old root system from the bamboo but they found ways to work around it. Watching them, I was fully prepared to be satisfied, but when the project was completed, I was over the moon. I now have a gorgeous wall with steps leading down to the pond. There is a winding pathway with slabs of cedar creek flagstone. And the plantings are stunning, large and healthy. And surprise again. They are the right plant for the right spot. I could not be more pleased. Thank you, Jim and crew for your hard work. I am a VERY happy customer.
