I went to see dr. Blackford because I had been having debilitating pain in my glutes and hips for over a year. Went to two orthopedics who diagnosed me with gluteal tendinitis and piriformis syndrome. Two hip injections and two physical therapists later my pain persisted. Visiting dr. Blackford, she diagnosed me with tight psoas muscles, tilted pelvis and stuck SI joints, which contributed to my hip and glute pain. She worked on me for a good 45 minutes, carefully listening to me and deciding what needed to be done. Also gave Recommendations for my posture and gait. After a year of persistent pain, I walked out of the office pain free - yes that's right - pain free. What a caring , gifted doctor!
She is very thorough in her care of me. I have been to many chiropractors and she is the best. Not pushy about saying you need to come unless its necessary. She also.offers different chiropractor treatments.
