“I had been seeing a terribly expensive dentist with marble floors and Greek columns and nice enough people but it was terribly expensive and when something did go wrong and I became upset they became upset that I was upset. My front tooth fell out in London. Yes, I was upset. But I have grown weary of the movie set Office and the outsized bills and I wanted a dentist without the word Smile in it. The word smile will cost you $400 a visit. Using Google Maps I went through dentists in my area of Sarasota and Bradenton. I travel extensively and Google Maps is absolutely the most useful program out there for road warriors. So I read the reviews of Davis Family Dentistry and I decided I liked the reviews of this dentist and I made an appointment. And I found out that this really is a family practice. One dentist, one assistant. Not only does it have old world charm and culture but it has far more advanced technology than the Greco-Roman Temple that I had come from. Dr Davis did not have to make me a temporary crown for my front tooth. He has a computer controlled milling machine in another room that takes a billet of ceramic and mills you are perfect finished tooth in 20 minutes. He did the front tooth and he finished the work on a molar that was not finished from the other dentist and I was out in one visit. I’m 79 years old and I’ve been going to dentists for all about a few of those years. I developed medical billing software and supported physicians on that software for 40 years so I know a lot about medical delivery units. Dr Davis and assistant, Tera, are a refreshing reminder of a bygone era. Better and quicker work, defensible charges, sincerely friendly. With the most modern technology. You can go into this place in the morning at 10 o’clock, find out that you need to have a crown, and be out before lunch with a permanent crown in your mouth. I have a lot of faith in Google reviews which has been earned over many years. It was right again.“
