When I came in I gave compliments how nice the place is. English is my second language also. I knew the owner who used to work there, but not here. I ask for help because I know nothing much about nails and want is dip powder. The old owners use to help me. So, I ask the new owners opinion and what to pick, because they are more professional than. I am clueless. That day I was supposed to see my mother and I had surgery. And I ask for a flower on my ring finger. He said ok. Maybe because I spoke too soft. And I keep apologizing because I came in at 6:00 and I know a little that they will close at 7pm. So I wanted some thing quick and a flower not to waste their time. It was done but with no flowers . Which I did not complain to them, because their were closing so I left. And I did leave a review before stating: I do miss the old owners because they pick what was best for me. I usually go to a different area that is close to my home. But I saw this nail place again. I was confronted today by owner in front of customers about how my review can damage their company and that they are a small business. I was really confused. Because I only write that the guy did not place a flower on my nails and that I am clueless about this nail stuff and that I feel they were laughing. I didn’t say nothing bad at all.
I will say today was great. I did make appt to do appointment for a pedicure but I just canceled it, because the way I was just approached was a bit uncomfortable. I did not say nothing bad. I give them complement. I was told they pulled up video of me seat while the guy doing my nails. I hope you saw that I Point at my ringer finger for a flower.

“Nikki did an amazing job on my new Gel-X nails! I never knew this existed, but will be getting these from now on! They are crystal clear tips that last longer— and do not require acrylic on top before polish!!! Edit: THEY LASTED OVER A MONTH!!! Added my next manicure too.“

Sister owned and operated and the people there love nails. They always know what's on trend. Its the complete opposite off all of these soulless chain shops that are popping up all over which you can tell the techs don't want to be there.“

“I can't believe I've never reviewed this place! I've been getting my nails done by Tim at Ruby's nails for probably over a decade. I love him and his wife, Mary, and whoever the reviewer said that they were so rude couldn't be more delusional. They are very kind and friendly, and always help you have exactly what you're looking for on your nails and toes. I'm not much of a planner, and I can usually call the day before and get an appointment for the following day. The salon is not "fancy", but I can't tell you how many salons I went to that were and did not know how to do nails. I do,however, love their massage chairs for the pedicures. Their prices are very reasonable, and I always walk out of there very pleased with the work that was done. Today I got a "freedom manicure" in honor of the 4th of July tomorrow. Prior to finding this salon, my nails would fall off within a week of getting done. I literally can go a month in between getting my nails done with maybe only one breaking and that's because I'm ridiculously hard on my hands and keep my nails too long. My nail tech is Edward. Such a polite and handsome gentleman. He examined my nails, made good suggestions and did a beautiful job! The precision and care he put into my nails is beyond what anyone else has done since I’ve moved to Florida. Highly recommend this place. It’s cute and chic, very clean and the customer care is 10/10.
