For nearly five years, we have struggled with our dogs’ anxious and fear-based behaviors. Various trainers and online programs left us unintentionally confusing our dogs and exacerbating our frustration. Then we met Gari, and learned that a dog behaviorist was what we were missing. She taught us that lasting change comes in baby steps and how to help our dogs make choices that give them confidence (and us peace). Gari walked us through each step with patience and positivity. She is a gifted teacher and ally. We are a month into our new routine with the dogs and are seeing genuine improvement in both the dogs and our relationship with each. Thank you Gari!!!!!

We adopted 2 chihuahua mix puppies that had been abandoned at 2 months of age--as a result, they were showing signs of “extreme fear-aggression” towards people and dogs. We definitely needed some help! Our vet recommended Gari Weinraub, who is a dog trainer and behaviorist. At our first session, Gari assessed the pups and explained to us that these puppies needed special training. During each session, Gari showed us new techniques on how to improve on those training cues. She also recommended ways to help socialize the puppies and make them less fearful.
