“I cannot say enough about ROOTZ Salon and, especially, Kat Millburn.
Kat is truly exceptional — not only an incredibly talented colorist, but one of the kindest, most professional people I’ve ever met. Her level of care goes far beyond what you would expect. After a previous colorist severely burned my scalp, Kat stepped in with compassion, knowledge, and a clear plan to help me heal. She didn’t just correct the damage — she restored my hair and my confidence.
My daughter, who is visiting from Ireland, has naturally beautiful red hair — not an easy color to match. Kat nailed it. The first formula was gorgeous, and the second was nothing short of remarkable — it brought my daughter’s color back to exactly how it looked when she was 18. Truly extraordinary.
What Kat has created at ROOTZ is just as impressive. The salon itself is beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed. You can feel the intention behind every detail — even the stunning artwork on the windows and doors, created by her daughter, a talented graphic artist.
Kat has also built something rare — a space that attracts excellence. Another outstanding colorist, Cara, is part of the salon, and together they’ve created an environment of true professionalism, artistry, and care.
Kat Millburn is special — as a colorist and as a human being. My daughter and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her.
Grateful beyond words.”
