they arrived early, and nathaniel even remembered working on our fireplace before. the team did an excellent chimney cleaning, removed the creosote buildup, and suggested a helpful product to keep the flue in better shape between sweep visits. the whole fireplace area looked very clean when they finished, and the glass doors were spotless. great job all around.
Because of a structural issue, a crack showed up in my chimney. Nathaniel came out to inspect it after friends recommended Guardian chimney's for good chimney repair work. He fixed the crack the right way, repaired the area under the chimney cap, and installed a much better new cap. The work was done fast, the fireplace vent system looks much safer now, and the 10-year warranty gave me extra peace of mind. I was really happy with how smooth the whole chimney service went.
We’ve used our wood stove many times since Guardian chimney's cleaned, repaired, and re-lined our chimney flue, and added a new chimney cap. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Barry and Nathaniel explained that the older flue needed HeatShield restoration and that the worn, rusty cap should be replaced to help the system vent better and protect the chimney from rain, debris, and animal entry.
