Call Ty at Blume mechanical FIRST so you don’t get upsold by conglomerates. Had two AC companies come out to check my nonworking unit.
One was already there a month ago and said my repair would be $1300 (they “fixed” the same issue the previous time for $650-it failed). They quoted me $19,500 for new AC but also tried to upsell me a lifetime contract.
Second company looked at the issue and quoted me low end $12,000-15,000 (based on how much warranty they offered).
