“There are tens of thousands of licensed real estate agents in Florida. To be honest, a large number appear to be unprepared, unskilled, and got into the industry for the wrong reasons: some believe they will get easy money, some want the perceived status, and many believe it does not require much work. Before we hired the Coden Ferraro Group, we had our unit for sale for four long years. The preceding realtors were an unmitigated disaster. One was more interested in selling his own units in the building, worse yet, appeared to have used my unit as leverage, plus spent an inordinate amount of time out of the country. He gave no pricing or strategic advice. He was averse to work on weekends when he was around. The other almost always had something to do when there was a showing, leaving the buyers' realtor alone, had no selling skills, told me I needed a miracle to sell the unit, and often appeared to represent the buyer rather than us, focusing on building or area flaws.
