After calling a local national chain store and getting the brush off because the salesman did not want to come out and give us an estimate if we couldn't afford a stated price (we could), we are happy we didn't pursue that avenue because they would have just sub-contracted the work out and padded the bill. We are extremely pleased with our new Generac generator and relieved knowing that if our power goes out for an hour or days, our entire house will continue to operate.
