Dr. Rubenstein and the staff at Park Avenue Animal Hospital have been caring for my family's pets for over 30 years, and caring is putting it mildly! They have shown the utmost care and understanding of our family's pets. Recently I had to help my Daughter and her husband who is a colonel in the Air Force stationed in Alaska get their kitty, Charlie home to her family. They went above and beyond to research and accommodate the requirements for this relocation. I can't thank Amber enough for all the hard work she put into finding the proper paperwork we needed. Dr. R has helped me through my new puppy happy times and my end of life tough times. I am eternally grateful to him. He is a one of a kind, he is a GOAT and ensures that his staff represents that same type of care. Forever grateful to PARK AVENUE ANIMAL HOSPITAL!
This was my dog's first visit after transferring from another veterinary hospital after 8 years. I was recommended to call Park Avenue Vet to make an appointment. I called spoke with thim and was directed what new patients information needed. From the start the tech, Vet and staff was so pleasant and accommodating to my questions and my dog showed calmness and love to them from the start. I'm glad I switched and highly recommend Park Avenue Veterinary for you animal needs! A special thank you to vet tech Kassandra!
There are at least a dozen vets closer to me, but the 25-30 minute drive is more than worth it. They are kind, knowledgeable, and getting an appointment is rarely an issue. Dr. Rick is both calming and caring; he treats the animals with gentle affection. He is also extremely patient and answers questions without making you feel inept. Dr. Rick's pet-side/bed-side manner is professional and warm--it should actually serve as an optimal example for more human doctors. Additionally, Park Avenue affordable. I had been to previous vets that seemed to price gouge and make you feel guilty--that has never happened at Park Avenue. I'm glad my neighbor recommended Dr. Rick and Park Avenue. This is the best I have ever felt about a vet, and I know my dogs will be in good hands.
