About Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital
Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital in Altamonte Springs is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital described as amazing and the best in Orlando. It treats conditions including amputations, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedics, stroke, and neurological disorders. The building is new, very clean, and well-maintained, with private patient rooms. The gym is equipped with everything necessary for therapy. The staff, nurses, technicians, therapists, and doctors are wonderful, professional, attentive, compassionate, and caring. They truly care about the patients with empathy and love their jobs. The team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists, respiratory therapists, registered nurses, neurological nurses, and CNAs, all working with great care to help patients recover. Therapy helps patients move limbs, gain torso control, find their voice, make sounds, swallow again, and eat soft foods. Respiratory and speech therapy can also help remove a tracheostomy tube in due time. Families express sincere gratitude for the wonderful, kind, and helpful team. Staff members are joyous, beyond helpful, friendly, and treat patients and families with so much love and compassion. They keep families informed and supported throughout the process. While the care is highly impressive with nothing needing improvement, the overall experience is considered the most amazing and the best decision for a loved one’s rehabilitation.
My dad stayed at Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital for 3 weeks, and we had a great experience. The therapy team treated him like family, and we saw incredible progress during his stay. Special thanks to Linda/Krystal, Eric, and Able for their amazing care and support.
The nurses, especially Daniella and Widza, were also very kind and attentive. Even the food & beverage staff were wonderful — always making sure my dad got his coffee, which he loved.
The facility is very clean, modern, and everything feels new. We also appreciated that the cafeteria service was available to visitors, which made long days there much easier.

Love this facility! Beautiful surroundings, Equipment for rehab is top of the line and so many unique gadgets and machines to help you back to normal with the least resistance! Staff/Nursing/Techs/Therapists couldn’t have been any more welcoming always ready and willing to help anything for your comfort. Aiesha, Melissa,Chris, Linda, Alyssa Darrylene Michelle I wish I could remember each and every name so many more Thats All contributed to my care. Hip replacement Surgery is not fun but Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital. Made it very manageable and Able to walk out unassisted! Yea! Nursing care, PT & OT was excellent. Multiple Doctors checked me daily. I can't thank Steve (PT), Mark (0T) & all involved with my care & rehabilitation enough. Having more back surgery in June & will definitely request to return to Orlando Rehabilitation Hospital, 2nd floor again for my recovery. I want the same team!
