I am a new patient of Dr. Abiye and I was so happy for a number of reasons. I am happy to have a Doctor of color, that's a female, and actually LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS. She explained every test to me, addressed my concerns, and was easy to talk to. She even said if I have anymore questions, to feel free to contact her. She gave me a follow-up appointment that wasn't a year and a half from now. I am just happy and the office is clean, the staff is nice, and I seen a black male doctor there that I am going to see if my son can see. My daughter was happy with her appointment with Dr. Emma as well!
I have been coming here for years. Their policies have changed in that time. They are no longer as personal as they use to be. You are in and out with the Dr in under 10 min. Other staff give you more ore time. The doctors are over worked with impossible quotas. Unfortunately this seems to be the way of things in the medical industry. The staff do what they can with the resources they have. You must be vigilant in your medical care. You can be over looked easily.
I called Christiana Care to schedule appointments, and they were so flexible and helpful in finding the providers I needed and helped me to schedule the appointments and if they were not able to schedule the appointments, they gave me the phone numbers to call and schedule it myself, but for the most part, they were great. Five stars.
