Outstanding martial arts school that emphasizes physical fitness and practical self-defense with a positive flare to it all. It has been a joy for my youngest son and I to be a part of this family over three years now. AKS has a phenomenal kids program that also instills virtue and builds confidence.

I encourage all parents with very active children to consider karate. Especially, American Karate Studios. Now, I'm not saying they are the best, cause there are so many karate schools out there and being the best is subjective based on experience, cost and atmosphere. My son has been going here since he was 4 and to see him focus his energy, build confidence and discipline is a great joy as a parent. Plus all the friends he has made has really helped his self esteem. The only reason I haven't given them a five is because I have no other karate school to compare them too, and honestly it takes a lot for me to give a 5 star for anything ?.

we started January this year and my boys absolutely LOVE it!. I have witnessed the care the teacher takes in helping each child engage and feel involved. The children who seem not ready developmentally are asked to wait until they are ready to actively engage in the class. The studio provides a month of free "try it out" lessons for this exact reason.
Parents whose children are not ready don't need to feel embarrassed. My boys ADHD/ASD both needed additional time maturing before we enrolled. the community is super empathetic. And they are now thriving.
