Today, 12 Sept is the 1 yr anniversary of laying my wife of 38 yrs , Susan H Coombs to rest. As i sit here emotional on the significance of that day, a positive smiles comes to my face as i remember you Lisa and your compassion and attention to detail that day. You took the time to get to know me and our life and you knew that i was in military director mode carrying out her burial wishes, Doing it all for her family, and out of town friends all on my own. After the cemetery service, I was still in military mode directing the last guest to the restaurant. It was You who approached and invited me to stay to have one last beautiful private moment with my wife! Because of you, I was able to hold, hug, and talk to her one last time, able to cradle and place her urn and momentos into her vault. As her wife and caregiver, i had lovingly put her to bed every night and now because of you.., i got to put her lovingly to bed one last time into her final resting place. It was all so beautiful. I turned to thanked you for all that i got to do..with so much love. You smiled back and said, that you knew i was the type of person, who would want to do this! you were so right! Lisa i am so grateful for your dedication and compassion for taking my loss into account! i was so busy thinking of everyone’s feelings, forgot about my own, and YOU SAW thru THIS!
