“I am not very good at making ahead appointments for haircuts and I called this morning and they were able to schedule us within the hour for my toddler son. We saw David who was absolutely wonderful with my son. He was incredibly patient and empathic that my child was scared of getting his hair cut. He showed him how soft the scissors and razors were first before using them on his head. He gave him a comb to hold and a holder for my phone to play videos. He reminded me while my son was getting emotional that it's part of the human experience and it really was something I needed to hear. I look forward to my son having a regular barber! All around very caring and exceptional service. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.“

“I go to Eric every time I need a haircut. Haven’t been anywhere else since. He’s extremely meticulous, does a thorough job, takes his time, and makes sure you like what he’s doing. His cuts are always exactly what I asked for and he’s always consistent. On top of all that, extremely friendly and welcoming. Gives good vibes all around. Definitely should be one of your top options when getting a cut.“

“My husband started going to Margie a few years ago when his regular shop closed down. She has always done an excellent job with his hair and I needed a cut as well. I have long hair. I am usually a bit apprehensive getting it cut, it’s never quite how I hoped it would turn out. However she did an excellent job. Not too short and the layering is perfect for wearing my hair up or down. Her cost is minimal compared to the other local salons I have used. I hope she stays in business a long time because I will be back. Thank you for the great cut !“

“I got my hair cut here and it was a generally positive experience. I got what I asked for with pleasant conversation and good service. There's a bar where you can get drinks and coffee while you wait. My favorite part is that it's a full service place that washes your hair and pampers you a bit. Much better experience than a barber.

Beware though, not all stylists are created equal. My husband got his hair done here and he wasn't as happy with his cut. He felt the person didn't really give him what he asked for and there were some communication issues there.

We might try again so he can get his hair done with my stylist. We'll see. Would recommend for the full service though!

“been getting my haircut here for at least 4 years, the guys already know what i get and not to mention the cuts are amazing, leave me looking like they gave me enhancements and they never even used enhancements which makes them stand out. they do eye brows and the whole face for the guys and there razor work is too stair. will be my number one barber untill i move out of state and even still i would drive 3 hours to get a cut there“

“Hometowne Hair Shoppe is a fantastic barber shop that immediately made me feel like a regular even though it was my first visit. The reservation process is easy through a third party app, and there was plenty of parking around the venue. Drew was my barber, and he greeted me (and others visiting) by name. He provided a professional haircut while also recommending several places to visit in the area for food, drink, and fun. The rest of the staff were equally professional, and the venue itself is great. Water and coffee are available while you wait. I would recommend bringing cash for a tip as it would make things easier on the barber you have, but you can also tack it on your credit card if necessary. I’ll continue to go here for a trim up while living in the area.“
