Good Morning, my mother has been in the hospital since Saturday she came in through emergency she was dizzy, head ache, she fell at home. They checked it was her Pacemaker maker Monday they said she would be on the schedule then they said Tuesday I was told she would be on for Wednesday they gave us a time 12:00, they came back 2:00 came back 3:00 nothing done now they are saying Friday this is terrible need more surgeon, a team that's what they are telling me my mother has had this Pacemaker just a year if you need anything you can call me Cynthia Corpening 202-375-1288 [email protected]. Slowest ER in the world. Went to medstar urgent care and was told to go to the ER to get eye looked at. 2.5 hours later I finally see a doctor. Thank goodness this was not a real emergency or I'd probably be dead. The hospital needs to make improvements on their ER system and care.
The most unhelpful experience I have encountered. No one seems to know what is going on when asked questions, updates are only given if asked, wait times are astronomical and anyone who works at a front desk here is extremely rude and dismissive. Only came here out of convenience and will never do that again. Would never recommend seeking treatment at any department at this hospital.
