I have used Universal Flowers twice so far and each time the owner, Ms. Kasey, has not only risen to the challenge but exceeded my expectations. For this last order, our committee wanted a surprise arrangement for our chairman. And this is in addition to the plant/flower center pieces she did for our guest tables. When I tell you that you the chairman's arrangement was superb, I am not exaggerating. When we selected the arrangement, we were already in love with it but didn't love the vase so much. Universal assisted me in laying my mother to rest. They are attentive, sympathetic and understanding. I also pride myself in supporting local businesses. Universal is THE first Muslim based mortuary in the Washington, DC area. And though I am a christian my wishes were met and exceeding expectations. I am completely grateful to Kasey, Mr. Mateen, Mr. Cuffey and Darryl for everything that they did. #WeOwnOurOwn
