Traveled to DC for work and stumbled across Twist It Sista for a loc retwist and style and I’m SO GLAD I did! I called ahead and was seen within an hour. First off, the salon is GORGEOUS: beautiful art, plants, spotless, music (neo soul) was on point, and there was free coffee, tea, water and other refreshments. My stylist, Tavia, was so gentle and knowledgeable. She recommended some products for me throughout the service and gave me the best wash + deep conditioning I’ve had in a while. Everyone in the shop was lovely. Emily at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend for my other loc’d, faux locs, and natural sistas!
Twist it Sista is a neighborhood gem. Everyone in the shop is super friendly and down to earth. I've been seeing Yvonne for about a year and she is excellent - always pleasant, on time, and easy to work with. I feel fortunate to have found this salon. Also, their 🎵 playlist is 🔥!
There’s not enough stars to grade the quality. Not only is the receptionist sweet and welcoming, but the vibe of the salon is unlike any other salon making it unique. The paintings, the jewelry, and hair are products they offer are phenomenal. The salon has the feel of an art gallery as well as the colorful and beautiful personalities displayed by each individual stylist. The stylist are very knowledgeable, patient, and approachable…you describe what your expectations are, and 9 times out of 10 they will have you covered. I love love love this place!!!
