Saw Tony today for the usual GREAT haircut and a massive dose of philosophy, economics and overall state-of-the-world. Very COVID-safe; Tony took extra care to follow all of the rules, including disinfectant, masking and everything one would expect. (& full disclosure--I waited till both my shots kicked in before going back to him.) Been going to Tony for many, many years, and am grateful for the best haircut in town at the best price.... Since so may of us are working from home, presenting the best possible Zoom-appearance is important, and Tony's contribution to that is no small matter. As previous reviews have noted, just let him roll with his thoughts on the world--I'll take 30 minutes of that over the blathering talking heads on cable anytime. (Hey, this is DC; wouldn't surprise me if some of those gasbags get their material from Tony anyway). Seriously, a small but important step towards normalcy AND another way to support a small business during these tough times. Get your shot, then go get your haircut ! PS: his prices are dirt cheap--tip him well.

Tony is 'old school cool'. He's a professional. His shop is simple yet atmospheric. He's a great barber, a great guy and I'm never disappointed with the cut of his jib or quality of his cut.

Got a very good (& efficient) hair cut. ($30, cash), last week. Vonnie had me done in less than 10 minutes w/minimal direction. Friendly staff & good customer service. Highly recommend!
