About The Westchester

The Westchester is an Art Deco building from 1929, geared towards adults. It offers spacious apartments, but with limited laundry facilities and no balconies or pool. The building has good security, a garden, and on-site amenities like a market and restaurant, but may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Lovely building geared to adults. Good security...is a co-op, built in 1929Not good for handicapped access, but lovely. Had a market, dry cleaners and a restaurant on premises. Parking has a five to seven year wait in the garage.

The Westchester is the 40 year Washington D. C. home of the late Barry Goldwater and is one of the most elegant examples of pre-war architecture in the country! The homeowners are planning to reopen the dinning room with a wonderful Italian restaurant this place is a 10!
