My partner and I had a lovely time salsa-ing with Nemo! She was such a busy lady on a Sunday afternoon, but we felt she gave us the most undivided attention for our private class. Personally, I felt that I improved my salsa turns in just an hour. We would like to go back again for group classes!
If you are a beginner, fear not!! I wanted to try something new, so I signed up for the tier 0 four week intro salsa class. The first session was already really fun. I have limited coordination with my feet, but Pedro is funny and patient, and the time flies by! I highly recommend if you need a break from the news and want to learn a new art!!
Honestly I was a little nervous about taking dance classes, I can say this place makes you feel comfortable right away. The instructors are not only talented but also super patient, breaking down the steps so it’s easy to follow even if you’ve got two left feet. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun. You don’t feel judged if you mess up, everyone’s just there to learn and enjoy. The music and energy really make you want to keep going, and it feels like a good workout too without even realizing it. What I liked most is that they take the time to explain both the lead and follow roles, so you really understand how to dance with a partner and not just memorize steps.
