Helpful lactation consultants that are super knowledgeable. Love the flexibility of scheduling.

I’m a second time mom, when my son was born about a month ago and breastfeeding was incredibly painful, I immediately contacted the Breastfeeding Center. Because of COVID I had a virtual consultation, and Maureen was able to assess that he had a tongue tie. We were able to get recommendations for pediatric dentists that were still seeing patients, re-learn how much milk my son needed per feeding. Her help really gave us the tools to navigate feeding him when it was difficult to do so. He was able to regain the weight, and we did the tongue/lip tie release when he was 4 days old. Breastfeeding was immediately much better, and most importantly he was able to eat more efficiently and surpassed his birth weight after a few days. Furthermore, the virtual support classes, make it so much easier to join the meeting. I am able to share with other women on the struggles and successes of breastfeeding. In this weird COVID times, this group has to made me feel more connected. Thank you!

I’m a second time mom who was having trouble nursing my second child (even though I had nursed my first). I was able to get a LC to come to my home within a few hours. She gave us some great tips and a boatload of encouragement that set us off in the right direction. I don’t think I would have a successful nursing relationship with either child without a great lactation consultant and having someone come to our home relieved the stress of going to an appointment in the first week!
