I’ve used this dry cleaner several times because the turnaround time is consistently fast. Unfortunately, the cleaning and finishing quality has been inconsistent. On multiple occasions, stains remained on garments after cleaning, and the pressing wasn’t always done particularly well. My husband’s shirts also came back much starchier than requested. Nothing was ever damaged or lost, but given the premium prices, I expected better and more consistent results. After several visits, I’ve decided to try another cleaner.
Really disappointed with the customer service here. I dropped off my skirt and asked for a hem up w/ lining. The employee agreed he could do it and said it would be ready in a week. I saw I was charged $50 instead of $40 like website advertises. I asked why I was charged the additional price at the pick up. He said it was because my skirt was wide and he should’ve charged me $70. When I asked why he didn’t mention the additional charge when I spoke to him at the initial drop off, he angrily said “well you should have asked.” That is not how you treat loyal neighborhood customers who have spent hundreds of dollars at your business over the last year.
Anthony, the new owner, saved me from having a wardrobe malfunction in front of my husband's boss. I was away from home, and the small stitch that kept my wrap dress from slipping off my chest failed to hold. Several other local cleaners I walked in to told me they couldn't help me the same day.
Swift Cleaners has a dressing room (with a multi-option light mirror). I stood in the room in my undergarments while Anthony repaired my dress. He was so polite, turning his back to take the dress and hand it back to me.
