Truly Speedy is an appropriate name and description of this business. Also, the work is completed in a confidential, quiet setting. Before I chose Speedy Tax, I was impressed by the reviews and awards. One that hangs on the wall in the waiting area is pictured with this review.
There is free parking nearby and metered parking on GA Ave. Also, the location is easily accessible by public transportation.
They live up to their name of being speedy, but they're also really knowledgeable and helpful. I've been using them for 2 years to help file my personal income tax (federal, DC, MD, and VA) and I've always been impressed at how efficient they are. Note that they only do walk-ins, no appointments, but I've never had to wait longer than 20 minutes to see someone (even during busy hours).
I have used Menghs for past 5 years or so to file my DC tax return after doing my main taxes with turbo tax since I do not live in DC and he has been responsive and knowledeable with all of the questions and concerns I have had so far and this is not a bot.
