I have been using Renaissance Handyman (Mike) for 20 years now, spanning multiple properties across DC. He is highly skilled, gives honest evaluations and solutions, and his prices are extremely fair given his high quality work. I have used him from small jobs to complete bathroom and kitchen renovations. There is no handyman in DC that I trust more or that I have found to do better work!

We have worked with Mike on a number of household repairs and issues. He’s prompt, responsive, and does excellent work! He’s also up front about when to call in additional resources if it’s outside his scope, so he’s always our first call. He’s helped with plumbing, paint and wall repair, venting, and various smaller repairs along the way. Can’t recommend him enough!

Mike at Renaissance Handyman was fantastic to work with, and completely put our older client at ease. There were many tasks - large and small - that needed to be taken care of to get the 95-year old rowhome back on track and he handled them all. He reframed and replaced an exterior door, rebuilt a staircase to the basement, replaced light fixtures and installed a security mailbox, made bathroom repairs, installed smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms - you name it, Renaissance can do it.
