Let me start off by saying that I firmly believe that Dr. Ramin Farboudmanesch saved my life! I was having extreme GI issues for quite some time and my team of doctors were not able to resolve my issues. After the recommendation of a family member, I saw Dr. Farboudmanesch. After only ONE visit and within only 24 hours, my issues came to a halt. I feel like crying as I type this. I have never received this level of care in my life! He truly loves medicine and loves his patients. If it was not for him, I know that I would be in the hospital by now in God knows what condition. Dr. Farboud was very informed on letting me know what he was going to take place regarding my colonoscopy. Him and the wonderful staff at the MedStar Surgery Center at Takoma Park were great.

Prior to my encounter with Dr. Farboud I considered the colonoscopy procedure a necessary evil. Dread caused me to put it off longer than I should have. I know now that the procedure is necessary and perhaps lifesaving and that Dr. Farboud and his staff are the opposite of evil. Dr. Farboud is an amazing, caring and charismatic human being who took the time to get to know me, understand my fears and provided the education, comfort and trust I needed to do what I knew was good for me.
