I liked that I could reserve online, so I made a reservation for an 11 am pedicure. I got there at 11:02, and the only people in the salon were two other clients, waiting around for someone to come in. A staff member arrived a few minutes later, quite harried. She sped through my pedicure, which was finished in about 20 minutes. She was very kind, but also had long pointy nails, which kept digging into me as she did that hot stone thing on my legs and cut my toenails. The pedicure looks nice, and the place is relatively clean (though the floor could use a scrub), but I probably will not be back. I like a little more care in my pedicure, and a little quieter of music. I guess you get what you pay for, though!

At 39 weeks pregnant, I dragged my sore and swollen body down to Mt. Pleasant for one last treat-your-self before delivery. After seeing the great reviews of Pleasant Nail Spa, I decided to give it a whirl instead of driving further downtown to one of my more regular spots. Well, I think I have found my new go-to place for nails! I only interacted with the male employee here (there were two female technicians but they were on their phones the whole time - I was the only customer at about noon on Thursday) but I had a really lovely experience. He was so sweet and made sure I was extra comfortable during my pedicure. For $25, my pedicure included all the usual parts, including a really much-needed 2 part callous scraping and a hot stone massage! The hot little stones between my toes were a surprise but felt so good, and the stone massage on my swollen calves was absolutely heavenly. It was just the kind of treat I needed! Four stars instead of five because the nail painting job itself was "meh" - my toes were cut way too short for my liking (then again, I really came for the experience of having my feet pampered so I don't really care that much - but next time I'll be aware to give more direction about the length and shape of nails). Tips are cash only, which I totally missed from the reviews, but thankfully there is a Bank of America right across the street! There aren't UV drying stations so you'll have to just sit and wait for everything to dry - make sure you leave ample time for that. I didn't mind because it meant more time for me just chilling in the pedicure massage chair...I actually even fell ASLEEP because I was so completely relaxed!

Had a dip manicure to remove and redo. First women started using the electrical file down to the nail bed. When I asked why she wasn’t taking off the first layer only then using remover she had another girl come over. This one used a fake nail to slide under my manicure to force them off again no remover. No care for your nails, no cuticle care and no lotion put on after. Don’t know how they get any repeat business. Avoid this salon there are much better options out there.
