Nusta Spa - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

First time visiting this spa after a week long hiking vacation. I booked this spa soley for the relaxation aspect I read in blogs and reviews. I went in with thinking I would get to read in my robe in between my deep tissue massage and intro facial. There was none of that. I will admit the deep tissue massage did feel good on my tight, post-hiking muscles. For the facial, this was the first one ive ever had. She was friendly and informed me of what was going on my face and upsold me on the microdermabrasion (which I did splurge on). All in all, it was good, however I was looking for a day spa type place to lounge and unwind for a while.

Today was my third time at Nusta Spa. Excellent service and really nice staff. I got a deep massage from Lisa and she is AMAZING! The spa takes COVID safety precautions very seriously which I appreciated. My temperature was taken at the door and masks were on the entire time. I'll definitely come back to see Lisa!

Nusta is back, and better than ever! This spa has fully embraced all the health precautions being set by the DC govt ... and more. Upon entering, the receptionist welcomed me warmly and coached me through sanitizing my hands, disinfecting my shoes, and even offered me a mask. After a short wait, my therapist, Brad. retrieved me and took me straight back to the massage room. He walked me through how my massage was going to be different and then we got stared. The biggest thing was that I had a mask and the therapist wore a mask/face shield. This rock star (I've seen him before) worked his magic and my first massage since COVID started was one of my best. Thank you Nusta for hanging in there and opening again! I'll be back soon to see Brad or the fabulous Lisa soon!
