Pretty end result but somewhat aggressive manicure experience. Gel lamps could use a wipe down. (Separate advice: be sure to specify polish only or full manicure once you walk in after you book online.)

Had one of the best manicures I’ve ever gotten at Modern Nail Bar (Mount Vernon) 🤍

I’ve actually been coming here over the years, and it recently went under a change of management—and I’m obsessed with all the updates. Everything feels even more elevated and organized now.

I ran into owner Kristi who convinced me to go with builder gel and I’m officially converted. If you haven’t tried it—builder gel is a thicker, structured gel that actually adds strength and shape to your natural nails, instead of just sitting on top like regular polish. It helps prevent breakage, supports growth, and lasts way longer, which is exactly what I needed.

I’ve been to Tee Tee twice now and I couldn’t be happier. She left both my hands and feet looking amazing—super clean, polished, and really well cared for. You can tell she pays attention to every detail and takes her time. Such a great experience both times. Highly recommend!
