I am focused on showing up as my best self everyday, and feeling more confident as a leader. Mary has a very special way with people and I felt that she could help me grow. She embodies what she is teaching and is very encouraging and grounded. I’ve learned a lot from Mary. I understand that focusing on breathing is powerful. I’m a cabinet maker and injured my shoulder at my shop. This is where my work with Mary started. With acupuncture and qigong movements, my torn rotator cuff healed. But this was just the beginning. With the amazing, non surgical results of my shoulder, I decided to go all-in on everything she offers. Her regular qigong classes help manage stress and improve my health. I've been seeing Mary as an acupuncturist for a couple of years and have been consistently amazed at not only her ability to treat the problems that I come to her to help me with, but also at how much her practice and her skills have grown since I began seeing her. Her space in Washington DC has an almost magical feel to it. As soon as you walk through the beautiful, hand-painted front entrance, a wave of calm washes over you. Her space offers privacy without feeling as though you're in some institutional medical facility. And it also feels extremely safe during this crazy pandemic.
