I wish that this place kept track of patient outcomes, especially post-surgery. Dr. Kelly Chiles performed one on me a few years ago that only made it he pain worse. After, the only response was to suggest that I pursue pain management elsewhere.
I've been a patient at GW medical center for so many years and ll the staff are Drs are super professional and making sure you're taken care of. The wait time though can vary depends on who you're seeing. Sometimes I have to wait for a long time and sometimes as soon as I check in I get called in. I don't personally mind the wait since it's my health we're talking about!! Love this place
Note below that I had a terrible wait prior and ended up having to leave to go back to work before seeing my physician. After securing the first appointment of the day for my physical I actually had a fine experience with the provider and with the staff so I'm updating my review from * to ***. Prior experience: My appointment was at 10:30 AM. I got there at 10:05 AM. It is now 11:15 AM and I'm walking out of the office right now because the doctor told the front desk that my appointment is STILL 30 minutes behind from this point. I have a day full of meetings. I can't hang around waiting for my scheduled appointments to start. The front desk employees didn't even bother telling me in advance that my doctor was running late. They just left me in the waiting room waiting for almost an hour with no explanation and I had to go up to the front desk to ask what the problem was. Maybe I'd be less frustrated if they had communicated with me about what was going on, but I wish I could comment on the care but I can't. This never happened to me at One Medical. It's a damn shame that they stopped taking Carefirst BCBS. The annual fee was worth every penny there.
