Walked in on a whim this Sunday afternoon and had a very good experience. I asked the stylist for curtain bangs with face-framing layers (as well as a trim overall) and showed her a couple of inspo pics — she took one glance and knew exactly what I wanted. My hair looks great, and best of all it was $35! I opted out of shampoo/blowout so that probably saved some money, but regardless, very affordable for this area. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Golden Scissors since I was in high school, and I am no spring chicken. It’s been decades!!! I also live in NY but I don’t let anyone else give me a relaxer except for Rosa. She’s the best and so is her staff. I’ll often come in with my natural thick hair and leave with it looking sleek, silky and fabulous. Simply the best!!!! Go!

I've been here a few times and the haircuts have always been excellent. Sylvia gave me what I think will go down as the best haircut of my life. She was attentive and kind. I got a haircut from Esperanza today that was equally fantastic. She was funny and kind and I really enjoyed chatting with her. This is a great spot to check out for a sweet chop.
