Meh... The Cliff Notes version: there's a time management issue. I arrived 10 mins early for my 12:30 appointment. This is my first curly haircut and first time at this salon, and I was excited after reading all the positive reviews on multiple sites. My appointment was with stylist/owner Beth, who was friendly and greeted me, saying she was finishing a men's cut. I waited over 30 minutes and wasn't seated until after 1:00. The previous client's hair covered the counter, chair, and floor. Although no one wants to sit in someone else's hair, I reluctantly did just to get the appointment started. Beth didn't listen very well to what I wanted in a cut. She scared me a couple of times with a couple of things she said in our pre-cut discussion. I told her I wanted more layers, that I wanted it to fall more softly, and that I didn't want to take very much length off at all. She proceeded to cut it bluntly and take too much off. It now feels very heavy and I'm already looking forward to my next cut, though I need to grow it out. I'm very annoyed because it was so expensive. I wouldn't recommend going to her.

I see Michelle for my super curly and untamed hair. Although, I haven't been for a while bc I can get away without a cut during COVID, I would highly recommend this place. It's worth the price and Michelle is the best hair dresser I've ever had.Service: Hairstyling
