District Architecture Center offers a vibrant atmosphere for various events and exhibitions. It recently hosted a watch event featuring local starters and international brands, showcasing a variety of styles and prototypes. The event was free, and attendees were friendly and polite, concluding with a raffle. The center also serves as a suitable venue for smaller functions, accommodating 150-200 people, and is easily accessible by metro. Visitors can enjoy interesting exhibitions, such as Capital Curiosities, which highlight the best works of architecture in DC through photographers' lenses.
I happened to be walking by and stopped off to see the interesting current exhibit. Looking forward to seeing future exhibits.
In a central part of town, the District Architecture Center opens its lobby to the public for free. Most days, ring the doorbell and see architecture-centric displays on the ground and lower levels. There are also restrooms for use.
