I had a great experience at DanceSport Dupont Circle and would definitely recommend it. I first took a line dancing class with Dan and then used their promotion to try a two-step class with Terry for just $10 more, which was absolutely worth it.
Both instructors were excellent. Dan is very knowledgeable, experienced, and made the class fun and welcoming from the start. Since the class was small (about 6 students), he was able to give everyone personal attention and make it feel comfortable and engaging. Terry was also fantastic—very articulate, patient, and attentive to each student. You can tell he really knows how to teach both leading and following.

We did the two-stepping class with a group of friends. It was a lot of fun and the instructor was great. He was patient, helpful and very positive and friendly. We plan to continue with the lessons. And Mission DuPont is a 8 minute walk away for margaritas.
Terry choreographed and coached us for our first dance at our wedding, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. Neither of us has much dance experience, but, Terry found a way to make our dance unique, exciting, and beautiful, as well as approachable. He was responsive to suggestions we discovered during our at-home practices, and gave both practical and flair advice. It was easy to schedule lessons, and the studio is conveniently located in DC. We received many compliments on our execution, and it was fun to show our friends and family what we learned with Terry.
